Customer Spotlight: Water Views with a Rustic Feel
The Foschinis knew they wanted a rustic feel for their waterfront home, and thanks to a friend’s recommendation, they found their way to Southend Reclaimed. Inspired by ideas his wife had been saving on Pinterest, they envisioned warm textures and statement woodwork throughout.
From breathtaking beam work to reclaimed mantels for every fireplace (there are several!) and barnwood accents throughout, the finished space has come full circle. What started as an inspiration board is now a Pinterest-worthy inspiration of its own.
It's almost impossible to choose, but the intricate beam work may be the ultimate focal point of this home. Assembled with a pairing of Antique Reclaimed Hand Hewn Fabricated Box Beams and Solid Beams, each installation invites you to stop and stare.
The primary bedroom makes its own statement with Weathered Grey and Faded White Barnsiding, side by side in a striking tray ceiling. Sourced from the exteriors of barns over a hundred years old, some left bare, others painted white along the way, these boards were weathered naturally over decades. The contrast between the two creates a layered look that feels intentional, balanced, and far better together than you might expect.
"When I walked into Southend Reclaimed's Concept Cottage, I was immediately sold. I didn't even bother getting a second quote. My experience working with Paul was great, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reclaimed products."-Chris Foschini
