The owners of this beautiful townhome fell in love with the breathtaking garden views and tranquility of the quaint community, but being that the home was built in 2006, there were updates that they knew they wanted to make when the house was purchased.

When the time came to renovate, one of the major things they wanted to change was the flooring on the main level, of which the spacious kitchen is the center point. The owners wanted something light and airy that would make the space feel open, but also something that had character and a story of its own to tell, with the ability to be installed over a concrete slab. We helped them go through many options before they ultimately decided on Smooth Face Antique Reclaimed White Oak Engineered Flooring.

This beautiful character grade flooring is smooth to the touch, but contains nail holes, checking/surface cracking, worm holes/tracking, and other reclaimed barnwood characteristics that give it a very unique look. And against the white walls and cabinets, it really makes a statement!

Along with the flooring, the owners decided that they wanted the staircase that ascends from the kitchen to have matching stair treads, which we were able to custom mill out of the same material as the flooring. Altogether, this project turned out absolutely beautifully and the owners are just as thrilled as we are with the final result.
