When we decided to renovate, it was important to us to conserve the history and charm of our original American 4 square home. Our Architect Alan Clark and Contractor Neil Struby helped to bring our vision to reality. We loved the original heart pine floors that were throughout the entire home and knew we wanted to conserve them. However we were also doing an addition, and needed to try to match or find flooring that would complement the original flooring.
Our friend, designer Cathy Bunn, recommended we check out using reclaimed wood floors, and through some google sleuthing that's how we came to find Southend Reclaimed! We are so glad we did!
We found the process of working with Paul and the Southend Reclaimed team very good. They were super knowledgeable and helped us to select the perfect material. We chose to finish the floors using Bona HD in a matte finish. We are thrilled with the finished product. For anyone who is looking to match or complement original flooring, we think Southend Reclaimed is the way to go.
