Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this mountain dream home is one of the most beautiful projects we've ever had the pleasure of taking part in. With views of scenic mountains from every window and reclaimed wood throughout the house, there is profound beauty everywhere you look!
Antique Reclaimed Original Face Oak Flooring was used throughout the home and was sealed with a Bona water-based polyurethane finish. The staircases that take visitors from one floor to the next were built using custom Antique Reclaimed Original Face Oak Stair Treads, Risers and Newel Posts. You can't help but look up in just about every room because Antique Reclaimed Hand Hewn Beams create quite the focal point!
There are several fireplaces throughout the home, some with Hand Hewn Mantels and one in the study with an Antique Reclaimed Wormy Chestnut Mantel! Also in the study, unfinished Antique Reclaimed Wormy Chestnut covers both the ceiling and walls for a truly stunning look. Other rooms' walls are complete with Pecky Cypress and Weathered Grey Barnsiding planking. And last but certainly not least, the custom wine cellar is home to not only hundreds of bottles of wine, but gorgeous Antique Reclaimed Hand Hewn Beams, as well!
