Skip Planed Oak Flooring in Stunning Lake Norman Estate

We get the opportunity to work with homeowners on some pretty amazing homes, but this is one that really took our breath away. Not only is the home itself as beautiful as it is grand, but the views of Lake Norman really take it to the next level. It features reclaimed flooring from Southend Reclaimed throughout, including an extremely unique sunburst installation in one of the hallways.

When the owners were building their home, they came to Southend Reclaimed looking for one-of-a-kind flooring for their one-of-a-kind home. With our Skip Planed Flooring, no two pieces are alike. We achieve this unique look by taking Original Face Oak Flooring and sanding down various parts of each board's face, leaving some pieces smooth and other pieces original.
